I compose and take my pictures as I go, more interested in exploring rather than waiting for the best light conditions. Also, I like to travel light, especially when hiking strenously. As a result, I have taken many of my pictures with a point-and-shoot camera. I usually don't spend any longer than a minute to compose a shot, but always keep an eye on what may make a good photograph.

I have a heavier single-lens reflex camera that I have used for photography class, which also can help me take pictures that my point-and-shoot cannot. I took all my black and white photos with it.

All the photographs displayed on this page were taken by me, show the full frame and have not been edited beyond removing dust and scratches. You can reload the page to view another pseudo-randomly chosen picture or you can select from the photo index.
