To learn more about black and white photography, including taking pictures, developing and printing, I took a Beginning Photography class at the University of California, Berkeley Extension. I had taken photography classes in high school, but wanted a refresher course. Most photographs in this section were taken during the course of the class.
All the photographs displayed were taken by me, show the full frame and have not been edited beyond removing dust and scratches. You can reload the page to view another pseudo-randomly chosen picture or you can select from the photo index.
